Abstract:
Nowadays, vibrations are listed as among the most difficult challenges in the research and development of washing machines. This paper shows the method and procedure of setting up parameters for improvements of the performance of the washing machine by implementing the accelerometer. In the very beginning, an overview of the state of the art and the theoretical basis related to the operation of accelerometer and washing machines were presented. In the next sections, the method and the result of the research were analysed in more detail. A mechanical and an electrical specification and an experimental accelerometer validation were given for three different types of washing machines, including, an output of research were accelerometer’s limits to prevent the washing machine from being hit or bounced. The result included a comparison of figures for different washing machines depending on the operation conditions during measurements.
