Design and control of miniature water vessels

This paper presents the design and practical realization of two mechatronic systems designed to float in the water. The paper first presents a remotely controlled pneumatically powered boat, as an example of ecological and unconventional vessels. The boat is constructed with a proper arrangement of components to ensure its better balance. The propeller is driven by an air motor that enables the propulsion of the boat.

This work focuses on the process parameters of a model disk granulator for using waste silt in calcite production. This entails optimizing the disk’s inclination and rotation frequency, the quantity of supplied silt, the dynamic angle of the bulk material, the amount of added water, and the positions of the scraper, material feed, and wetting nozzle.

Lifelong multi-agent path planning of automated guided vehicles in intralogistics

This article presents new findings in the field of theoretical and practical aspects of the logistics of autonomous vehicles in the industrial sector, which are being investigated as part of an applied research project. The aim of the project is to use intelligent approaches and limited computing power to find optimal paths, temporal movement plans and task scheduling for a fleet of automated guided vehicles.
