Abstract:
This paper presents a dynamic and quasi-static method for determination of static sensitivity of fast-response piezoelectric pressure measurement system. In order to establish SI traceability for time-varying pressure measurements, a diaphragmless shock tube was developed in the Laboratory for Measurements in Process Engineering (LMPS). The measurements of static sensitivity of the piezoelectric pressure measurement system under test were performed with the dynamic calibration method and the use of a shock tube and with the quasi-static calibration method. Based on the comparison of the results and their extended measurement uncertainties we verified the adequacy of determining the static characteristics with both methods.
