<\/strong>Today’s fast paced and ever changing market dictates perpetual variations in product requirements already during the product\u2019s development process. If the involved design teams aren’t capable of taking these variations into consideration and adapting the process accordingly, the product will face poor market acceptance. Exactly how a given requirement change will influence the development process depends on the product’s complexity and the design phase at which the change has to be implemented. The Agility principles and the methods that encompass these principles enable a successful integration of various design changes during the development process. In the presented contribution, several key guidelines are put forth that facilitate the development process of complex systems based on the Agility principles. These were set based on a critical evaluation of the development process of an e-bike central drive, which is now in full serial production and which also received a gold prize by the Chamber of commerce of Slovenia as one of the most innovative products of 2020.<\/p>\n
