Abstract:
In the first part of the paper we present the reasons for the occurrence of particles in a hydraulic fluid. The problem of using a standardized test dust due to its abrasiveness, which is much stronger than that of real wear particles in a hydraulic system, was presented. We presented our own method for sampling real particles trapped in a hydraulic filter. In this, the second part of the paper, we present the method of particle analysis and the comparison between the real particles inside the hydraulic system compared to the particles of the standardized test dust (MTD).
